Mornings, Mood Swings and Bubbl'r Boosts
By Cheryl | Still Waters and Sticky Notes
What kind of morning person are you?
I’ve asked myself this question a hundred times—and come up with a hundred different answers. Coffee. Tea. Energy drink. Starbucks. Water. Honestly, I’ve tried them all.
Some mornings I’m a “let’s ease into the day” kind of person with a hot cup of tea. Other days, I need a full-on iced coffee with extra protein and a side of don’t talk to me until I’ve had this.
Then there are the days I don’t even have time to think about it, and I’m out the door with whatever’s within arm’s reach—hydration is hydration, right?
It depends on:
the weather
the mood
the budget
the schedule
And if I’m really lucky? I get that magical text:
“I’m heading to Starbucks—what can I get you?”Yes. Always yes.
My Summer Go-To: Bubbl’r
This summer, I’ve been reaching for something new—thanks to my daughter. Bubbl’r.
It’s an antioxidant sparkling water that promises to:
boost
energize
restore balance
And honestly? It delivers. It’s light, refreshing, and somehow feels like a little reset in a can.
Isn’t that what we’re all looking for in the morning anyway? A little boost. A bit of balance. And something that helps us show up for the day ahead.
☕ My Current Morning Mood Ranking
Protein Iced Coffee – Tastes like summer and gets the job done
Bubbl’r – Surprisingly energizing and totally refreshing
Starbucks Drive-Thru – A luxury and a treat (especially if someone else is buying)
Hot Tea – Calm mornings, peaceful mindset
Water – Necessary. Not exciting
Energy Drinks – Emergency use only. Think: first-day-back-after-break energy
✨ Top 5 Morning Pick-Me-Ups (That Aren’t Drinks)
A few quiet minutes
A great playlist
Reading something short and meaningful—like a devotional or quote
Time in my new home gym
A text from someone you love—or better yet, sending one
What about you?
What’s in your hand this morning? Coffee? Something bubbly? Maybe just grace?
I’d love to hear your go-to morning drink or routine. Leave a comment or shoot me a message—because in this season of finding balance, even the little things (like what’s in your cup) can make a big difference.
